Marco Jansen has not been in great form thus SRH is almost certain to drop him for Glenn Phillips or Aiden Markram. They could play an extra bowler in the line-up, possibly Jaidev Unadkat, in place of Mayank Agarwal.

• Travis Head – Travis Head has shown remarkable consistency in IPL 2024. He has been aggressive at the top and got SRH to fiery starts in most games. He has scored 444 runs this season at a strike rate of 180.
• Heinrich Klaasen – Heinrich Klaasen’s few performances have not been great but he has been the biggest match winner for SRH this season, scoring 339 runs at an average of 42 and a strike rate of 186. Given his form, he won’t go too long before making a big impact and it could come against LSG.
• T Natarajan – T Natarajan has enjoyed an excellent season with the ball. The left arm seamer has not allowed teams to get on top over SRH, playing a crucial role in SRH’s win. He has taken 15 wickets this season.
• Pat Cummins – The captain has contributed heavily to SRH’s success this year. He has taken 13 wickets and also scored a few crucial runs for the team. He has truly justified the 20.75 crore price tag with his performances this year.

• KL Rahul – As usual, Rahul has been the most consistent performer for LSG this season. The captain has led from the front, scoring 431 runs; however, a strike rate of just 141 might be a little less than what LSG would have wanted.
• Marcus Stoinis –  Stonis has also been in great form and scored 352 runs, including a hundred and two fifties. Stoinis is one player if he stays at the wicket for significant time, he will win LSG the game from the most tough situations, like he did against CSK where he scored 124 to help LSG chase 211. 
• Krunal Pandya – Krunal Pandya’s contribution to LSG often get unnoticed but he always performs well for the team in one way or the other. He has taken five wickets and scored less than 100 runs but if we look at his economy, which is less than 8, we can safely say that he has bowled fairly well this season.
• Yash Thakur – Thakur has been mighty impressive. He has been the wicket taker for his team, taking 11 wickets in nine matches. He has leaked a few runs though, at 10.81 runs per over, but given that he has taken wickets as well, LSG would accept that economy as it has been a high scoring tournament.

LSG can use Quinton de Kock as impact player if they are bowling first while Amit Mishra could be used as an impact player if they are batting first. The other player can be slotted in the playing XI.
