• Babar Azam- Babar did not have a great T20 World Cup but he is the team’s best batter and the expectations rests on his shoulder. On a surface, where scoring runs is likely to be tough, batters who are great in rotating strike are key.
• Mohammad Rizwan- The Babar theory applies to Rizwan as well who is the second best batter in the team. Rizwan returned to form in the last game against Canada and played a match winning innings of 53. He would be eyeing another decent outing in the next game.
• Mohammad Amir – Amir has bowled well in the T20 World Cup. He came out of retirement to play in the mega event and delivered a decent show. Amir got the ball to swing and got wickets with the new as well as the old ball. This will likely be his final game for Pakistan and he would eye a strong show.
• Imad Wasim- Imad Wasim is a valuable cricketer give his all-round skills. Wasim struggled against India with the bat but one should not judge him on one bad day. He is a solid batter and a more than a handy bowler.
