Nottinghamshire Team News & Playing 11

NOT Team News

After a terrible start to the campaign which saw Notts Outlaws lose each of their first five games, Joe Clarke’s side finally tasted victory on Friday evening when they scraped to a 1 run victory (DLS) against Worcestershire Rapids at New Road. They will now be looking to make it two wins in a row in this match.

NOT Team Batting

Chasing 100 to win from 15 overs on Friday, the experienced opener Alex Hales finally found his form again with 50 not out from 37 balls. Captain Clarke also made 26 at the top of the order and if both can carry this on into this game then Notts will be hard to beat.

NOT Team Bowling

With the ball, Ben Lister stood out for Notts Outlaws against Worcestershire Rapids and the New Zealander is likely to be a key member of the bowling attack in this match. Calvin Harrison also continued his recent form and he comes into this game with five wickets from his last four games.

NOT Team Form

Notts Outlaws ended their losing streak with the narrow win against Worcestershire Rapids.

DUR Team News

The North Group is extremely tightly packed at the moment and although Durham have only Notts Outlaws below them in the table, they have seven teams within two points of themselves. They will fancy themselves in this match but haven’t beaten the Outlaws in any of their last five head to heads.

DUR Team Batting

Durham do have plenty of batting talent in their side and although only two of their batters made double-figure scores in their last game, those two – opener Graham Clark and Australian Ashton Turner made 102 of the 130 runs! Alex Lees and David Bedingham have also made big contributions during this campaign.

DUR Team Bowling

Eight wickets were taken by Durham’s bowling attack in their last game, a 10 run defeat against Leicestershire Foxes. England international Matthew Potts was the standout performer with his four overs costing only 20 runs and picking up three wickets. Ben Raine also arrives at Trent Bridge in good form.

DUR Team Form

Durham had won two matches in a row before their defeat against Leicestershire Foxes on Wednesday.
