From the team who took on Surrey in the 2023 T20 Blast quarter-final, Lancashire Lightning will be without Phil Salt, Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone, Tom Hartley and Daryl Mitchell who are all at the T20 World Cup and Dane Vilas who is no longer with the county. Tom Bruce and Chris Green will be their overseas players in this campaign.

Lancashire Lightning are obviously a weaker T20 batting side without Salt, Buttler, Livingstone and Mitchell but they still have some very capable batters in their team. Keaton Jennings will be looking to make a name for himself in T20 cricket after being labeled a red-ball specialist over recent season.

Although the batting line-up is lacking some big names, Lancashire Lightning still have an excellent bowling attack with England internationals Luke Wood and Saqib Mahmood likely to open. Wood comes straight from the 2024 Indian Premier League.
