However, their last ODI series was against Australia where they suffered a defeat to Australia by 3-0 margin. India are a brute force at home thus the clean sweep against Australia would have hurt the team. Jemimah Rodrigues, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma will be key batters for India. Jemimah was India’s best batter against Australia and scored over 150 runs. Mandhana and Shafali have not scored a lot of runs but both are quality batters and will be eyeing a strong start to the series.
