Once again, Hampshire have recruited very strongly particularly with their overseas players for this campaign. Keeper-batter Ben McDermott returns for his third successive T20 Blast with the county and they have also signed Michael Neser. Afghan Naveen-ul-Haq will join up after the T20 World Cup.

In Ben McDermott and skipper James Vince, Hampshire Hawks have arguably the strongest opening pair of the tournament. And with neither involved in the T20 World Cup for their country’s, we can expect some big opening partnerships, starting with this match.
