BAN-W vs AUS-W 3rd ODI, Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka Pitch Report

The wicket has been on the slower side and batting has not been the easiest, especially against the spinners. Odd balls keeps low as well thus bowling in line of the stumps is the way to go. We can’t expect a high scoring game on such wickets.

BAN Women Team News & Playing 11

BAN-W Team News

Bangladesh Women have been given a reality check by Australia Women in the series. The hosts had done well at home against teams like India but Australia have been far too good for them. With two comprehensive wins, Australia have already won the series. However, Bangladesh still have a lot to play for. A win over Australia can help them avoid a white-wash.

BAN-W Team Batting

Fargana Haque, Murshida Khatoon and Nigar Sultana will be the main batters. There is not much to say about Bangladesh batting in the series as it has been as shambolic as it can get. However, if there are batters who can tackle the Aussie bowling, they will be the aforementioned players who proved their class in the previous series vs New Zealand Women.

BAN-W Team Bowling

Marufa Akhter, Sultana Akhter and Nahida Akhter will be the main bowlers. There was not much for the bowlers to do in the previous game as Bangladesh were bowled out for a mere 97. However, in the first game, all of them troubled the Aussies and restricted them to a low score.

BAN-W Team Form

Bangladesh Women have been very ordinary in the series so far. The bowlers have done well but the batting has been poor. The hosts are yet to cross the 100 run mark in the series so far.

BAN Women Predicted Playing 11

Murshida Khatun, Sobhana Mostary, Fargana Hoque, Nigar Sultana (c & wk), Ritu Moni, Shorna Akter, Rabeya Khan, Nahida Akter, Fahima Khatun, Marufa Akter, Sultana Khatun

AUS Women Team News & Playing 11

AUS-W Team News

Australia Women have been ruthless in both the games. The bowlers have been magnificent, bowling Bangladesh out for 95 and 97, however, they are yet to play their best cricket with the bat. The team could only score 213 in the first innings, courtesy of a late cameo by Alana King while they lost four wickets in a small chase of 98 runs.

AUS-W Team Batting

Alyssa Healy Ash Gardner and Ellyse Perry can be backed as top batters. Batting against the new ball is the easiest as the ball comes on nicely and Alyssa Healy is very capable to take full advantage of the good conditions if she can get herself in. Perry has been magnificent of late and top scored for the side in the second game, scoring 35. Gardner is a good player of spin so she will have a big responsibility on her shoulders.

AUS-W Team Bowling

Ash Gardner, Alana King and Sophie Molineux will be the top bowlers for Australia. The Aussie spinners have been unplayable for Bangladesh. Molineux took three wickets in the last game while Garder and King bagged two wickets each.

AUS-W Team Form

Australia have been brilliant in the series so far. They, however, will need some improvement in the batting department.

AUS Women Predicted Playing 11

Alyssa Healy (c & wk), Phoebe Litchfield, Ellyse Perry, Beth Mooney, Tahlia McGrath, Ashleigh Gardner, Annabel Sutherland, Georgia Wareham, Alana King, Kim Garth, Megan Schutt

🏆 BAN Women vs AUS Women Prediction
