ENG Women Team News & Playing 11

ENG-W Team News

There were two changes for England ahead of the second game of the series in Worcester with Kate Cross and Alice Capsey coming in for Lauren Bell and Sarah Glenn. Although the series has already been won, we are not expecting any changes for this match.

ENG-W Team Batting

It has been a great series for 25 year old right-handed England Women’s opener Maia Bouchier who has hit a half-century and an unbeaten hundred so far. Along with Nat Sciver-Brunt, Tammy Beaumont and captain Heather Knight, England Women have a formidable top four ahead of this WODI.

ENG-W Team Bowling

All-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt was fit enough to be able to bowl in the second WODI and although she went wicketless from her four overs she did bowl one maiden. We anticipate that she will be able to bowl at least eight over in this third WODI.

ENG-W Team Form

In this format, England Women have won all of their last four completed games.

ENG Women Predicted Playing 11

Tammy Beaumont, Maia Bouchier, Heather Knight (c), Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danni Wyatt, Amy Jones (wk), Alice Capsey, Charlie Dean, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Kate Cross

NZ Women Team News & Playing 11

NZ-W Team News

After making one change for the match in Worcester, bringing Lauren Down in for Hannah Rowe, it will be interesting to see the side which New Zealand Women select for this game. Down was added to the team to lengthen the batting order so they could well select the same side in Bristol.

NZ-W Team Batting

Only four of New Zealand Women’s batting line-up made double-figures in the second WODI with Amelia Kerr top scoring on 43. The trio of Kerr, captain Sophie Devine and Maddy Green at three, four and five are likely to be key in this game.

NZ-W Team Bowling

Medium pacer Brooke Halliday is the only New Zealand Women’s bowler to have picked up a wicket in this series and that is an area which Devine will be looking to change in this WODI. Molly Penfold and Kerr are the only bowlers who bring an economy rate under 5.30 to this game.

NZ-W Team Form

Although New Zealand Women beat England Women in April, they have now lost three of their last four WODIs.

NZ Women Predicted Playing 11

Suzie Bate, Georgia Plimmer, Amelia Kerr, Sophie Devine (c), Maddy Green, Brooke Halliday, Lauren Down, Isabella Gaze (wk), Jess Kerr, Molly Penfold, Fran Jonas

🏆 ENG Women vs NZ Women Prediction

This series has been way too easy for England after wins by nine wickets and eight wickets so far. As a result, we expect New Zealand Women to be determined to put in a better display with both bat and ball but realistically it is unlikely to be enough to win. Our prediction is for another comfortable victory for England Women.
