Kuldeep Yadav missed out in the previous game due to a niggle. If he has recovered, he will return to the playing XI. That is the only change we see at the moment. Anrich Nortje has been taken for plenty so far but he should retain his place given his match winning skills.

- David Warner – Warner backed up his 49 run knock against RR with a fluent 52 against CSK. Warner was in destructive mood and tormented the CSK attack, hitting five fours and three sixes. Warner has been given a license to go for the kill from ball one and the intent has worked wonders for him so far.
- Mitchell Marsh – Mitchell Marsh has also looked good but the big innings has eluded him. He has been demoted down the order to accommodate Prithvi Shaw as opener. It won’t be long before Marsh brings out a special innings for DC.
- Kuldeep Yadav – Assuming that Kuldeep Yadav is fit and available; he will play a big role for DC. KKR have quite a few left hand batters in the playing XI and Kuldeep will be a big asset for DC against the dangerous southpaws. However, he has all the skill to get the best right hand batters out as well.
- Axar Patel – Axar Patel has been magnificent over the years for DC both with bat and ball. He was instrumental in DC’s win over CSK, giving away just 20 runs and taking the wicket of Daryl Mitchell. He is also a very reliable batter down the order.

- Andre Russell – Russell is also one of the key members of the KKR team. Given his all-round abilities, he is always in the game. He scored a fiery 64 in the first game. In the second game, he did not get a chance to bat so he contributed with the ball and picked two wickets for 29 runs.
- Rinku Singh – Rinku Singh has not got enough opportunity so far but he has been in magnificent form and if KKR find themselves in trouble, he will be the one who can bail them out and put the team in a position of strength.
